What Will Our Team Accomplish?
Of course all of us are here for one thing. Robotics. But what does it mean to be in a team? What will these qualities mean for us in the future?
We've gone around to ask each of our robotics teams and asked them these same questions about what it means to be a team.
Here is some of the feedback we've gotten from students in VEX:
Note: These interviews took place during the 2019-2020 season.
Our first team I am interviewing is the Kennedy Clovers. Here is what they said: To be a team is to work together to achieve a common goal to work as one. Their robot will use rubber gears to grab cubes and transfer them into the corner poles of the arena. Finally their favorite thing about robotics is spending time with the team and solving new ways to make the robot.
Next we have the Meteors, the first team form Kennedy to make it to state: To them, to be a team is to work together to achieve their goals. Their robot lifts cubes into the towers in the arena. They like to be creative with their choice of creating robots.
Finally, we have the Brady Bots: To be a team is to work together to get the big jobs done together. Their robot will move blocks by using gears to grab cubes and put them into the corner pockets of the arena. They like to challenges of robotics and the hands-on work they have the opportunity to do.
We have many more teams that have just joined but these three have the most experience with the VEX program!
